Searching for a new home

After trying to find a new home for 2 years, Mr and Mrs H appointed Seamless Relocation to do the legwork for them. The family home, of 40 years, was too big, far from shops, friends and bus stops. Mrs H. commented, “Employing Seamless Relocation gave us a new lease of life. They found us the perfect flat. I would recommend them to anyone who can’t face the thought of searching for a new home or doesn’t have the time”.

Taking care of the move

Miss H used Seamless Relocation when she moved from a three storey house in Acton after 22 years to a flat. A recent hip operation meant there were practical difficulties trying to declutter and organise the move. Miss H said: “Kim and Charmian were marvellous - I just sat in the chair as they said what about this, what about that. Everything not wanted was sorted to go to auction, recycled or taken to the tip. On moving day they made sure I was able to sit & direct where furniture should be placed. I really didn’t lift a finger”.

Moving Solo
After over 40 years in London, Mrs T decided it was time to move south. Although supported by two sons long distance, she found the process of moving to be a minefield for women living on their own. She approached Seamless Relocation to give her both physical and emotional support through out the process of handling estate agents and potential buyers. ”I can laugh now but there was many a time during this period when I really thought I would call the whole thing off - if it had not been for you!

Helping special needs
Coping with a disability and working full time left Miss M with no energy to find a more suitable HA flat closer to work. Seamless Relocation took care of the search - from organising advertisements to swop flats, to being with Miss M when viewings took place. ‘‘Seamless Relocation took care of everything in my quest to find the right flat. From photocopying documents to liaising with the HA – nothing was too much trouble. They recognised that I have good and bad days. They are worth every penny “said Miss M.

Helping Parents
Selling the parents’ family home and your own family home as well as buying a larger house is hard work. But with one in London, one in Gloucestershire, plus my Mum who has a dementia, it was very difficult. Mr J. said ‘ I am very fortunate to have come across Seamless Relocation. Charmian arranged a lot of matters including finding a private ambulance to transport our parents to London, sorting out removals quotes and parking suspensions on the day – nothing has been too much trouble. It made the build up to the actual move less frantic than it could have been.
